Matthew J. O’Herron

Mr. O’Herron was born in Washington, D.C. in 1970.  He graduated magna cum laude from Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia with a B.A. in 1993.  Mr. O’Herron attended George Mason Law School and graduated with a J.D. in 1997 after taking a semester off to bicycle around Ireland.

Mr. O’Herron started his legal career as an insurance defense attorney handling both personal injury and workers compensation cases.  After a couple of years, Mr. O’Herron switched "sides" and began representing injured persons in all types of personal injury cases and workers compensation claims.  He became a partner with Turbitt & O'Herron, P.L.L.C. in 2004.

Mr. O'Herron is admitted to practice in Virginia Courts, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  He is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, Roanoke Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. O'Herron lives in Roanoke with his wife and four children.
