The insurance company for the drunk driver offered the policy limits of $1,000,000 since its insured was drunk when he hit our client.  The insurance company realized that there was no way they were going to prove our 24 year old client was partly at fault when their driver was drunk. Our client was crossing a one way street when the defendant drunk driver hit him.  The collision caused such a massive brain injury that our client remains in a vegetative state.  The funds from the settlement will be used to help the family pay for his lifetime medical care.
