Firm Overview

A dedicated and professional personal injury law firm

Turbitt, O'Herron & Leach, P.L.L.C. is AV® Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell®.  This rating indicates the highest skill level and ethical standard. With offices in Fairfax, Roanoke, and Warrenton we serve clients throughout Virginia, Maryland, D.C . We also serve clients throughout the United States in cases involving severe injuries or wrongful death. The lawyers at Turbitt, O’Herron & Leach, P.L.L.C. have nearly 100 years of combined experience representing clients. We are able to take cases to trial or to attempt settlement through negotiation and often use mediation to bring about resolutions in complex cases. Our lawyers have obtained many results of a million dollars or more for our clients.

Most of our attorneys previously worked as insurance defense attorneys for insurance companies before deciding to represent those injured by the negligence of others.  We now use that previous experience representing our clients.  We know how to present a case to an insurance company and how to counter the insurance company’s tactics and arguments. We also will help determine exactly how much insurance coverage is available in a particular situation. This can be critical since Virginia only requires $25,000 in automobile liability coverage. However there are often other types of insurance coverage available.

If a case does not settle, we will take it to trial where our clients benefit from the experience our lawyers have gained after trying hundreds of jury trials.  Since we prepare from the time we begin representing a client for the possibility of taking the case to trial, we will be ready if the client believes a trial is the best alternative.  This preparation actually allows us to satisfactorily settle most cases.
